After being unable to play the final two games of the season against the Strikers Bolton played the final game of the year against the much improved Oldham North Stars. This was a well played game and allowed Bolton to showcase its newly developed field with its new backstop now in place and grass cut.

After two years Bolton Baseball Club has been waiting to have a suitable field to call home and this game was a pre-cursor to the 2008 season. Bolton also finished the 2007 season with a grant that will allow for batting cages, pitching machines, youth equipment, and dug-outs. Hard work and dedication from all Blaze members has paid off and the future look good.
